Sharon Camarillo

Sharon Camarillo has always been passionate about education. Her passion for learning began with some of the dedicated teachers she had at Encanto Elementary in Southeast San Diego. Sharon began her post-secondary educational journey at Mesa College before graduating from San Diego State University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism, later working in the television news industry for seven years. Sharon later earned a masters degree in educational psychology from Florida Atlantic University and began her elementary teaching career in Del Mar, where she continues to teach today. Sharon is an active volunteer in her community and is passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion. She is excited to help student-athletes activate their potential and empower themselves for a successful future.
